Wall Barometer | |
An attractive, small wall barometer, circa 1900, approx 44cm high including finials.
The wooden case appears to be walnut with attractive feathering round the dial and is in very good condition. Both finials are present but the lower one has lost it's tip.

Close-up of dial |
The thermometer is intact but the white scale plate behind is broken in one place across the top.

Detail of thermometer and split back-plate |
The barometer is not working. The dial is covered by a convex glass (possibly not original), which is loose and chipped at the edges, the brass bezel is split in places and needs some attention, all the screws securing it are present.
