Featuring 'Jet Logan' in three alien invasion stories - The Thing - Sun Smash! - Sea of Satan

Cover in well used condition but still clean inside with all pages securely bound.

The covers are intact but worn, slightly grubby have uneven surfaces with a number of creases. There is writing on the front cover - an 'x' and the number '15', the top of the 'S' in Space has also been inked round the edge.

The covers are securely attached to the spine but have lifted away from the other pages on the front and rear faces and are a bit floppy.

The inner pages are securely attached to the spine and free from major damage, though well read with a couple of faint stains and mild creases across a few corners.

Cover in fair condition but inner pages in good condition

The cover is well handled, slightly grubby with curling at the corners and a diagonal crease across one corner. The back cover is in similar condition. The spine is in good condition and feels 'crisp'. Inside the covers have been lifted away from the inner pages at the spine but they are still securely attached and not floppy. There is writing on the front cover - an 'x' and the number '20'

The inner pages are in good condition, tightly bound with no marks or blemishes as far as I can see, just a few tiny 'dog ears'

Featuring three stories 'Time Slip', '10 Days to Doom', 'Seven went to Sirius'

Good condition.

The front cover is well handled but is in fairly good condition looks-wise, there is a crease across one corner and a couple of vertical folds bottom center but the print surface is shiny and intact with very little obvious wear showing through even at the spine. It looks clean with no writing or scribbles. The rear cover is in similar condition. The spine is in good condition apart from wear at the top and bottom edges and the binding is tight. The inner pages are securely bound and lie flat, they are unmarked and undamaged - I found one 'dog ear'

The wagon paintwork and transfers are in good condition (see picture). It has metal wheels. There is some superficial rust on couplings and axles but they move freely and operate correctly. There are some painted letters marks on the underside of the chassis.

The box is worn but is fairly stiff, one end flap is stained brown. Both outer flaps are attached but the two small inner flaps are missing at both ends.

The wagon paintwork is discoloured and scratched in places (see picture). It has metal wheels. There is some superficial rust on couplings and axles but they move freely and operate correctly. There are paint marks on the underside of the chassis.

The box has been well handled and worn but is fairly stiff, the staples are rusted, at one end all 3 flaps are missing.

16 Gilt Candelabra style Wall Light of antique rococco design

An elaborate 'candelabra' wall light with 3 arms, modelled in the French rococco style with a very attractive gilt finish. The gilding is in good condition.

Wired for electricity including an earth connection, the fittings take standard screw in bulbs

In need of some repair. One fitting has been damaged and has lost it's white insulation collar (see picture). Should be repaired and checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Overall size approx: 50cm (20 inches) high, 33cm (13 inches) wide, backplate 37cm (14.5 inches) high. Weight = 2.07Kg

A rare copy of No 8 of 'Double Duo' Picture Strip Adventure Comic Series published by Top Sellers Ltd. Each issue consists of two picture stories for young people, 64 pages. In this issue two stories about fighting for your birthright.

• The Castle of Otranto - A usurper is defeated by a king who returns from the dead
• Battle of Jerusalem - The Jewish people fight for their homeland

Condition is fair (see detail pictures above and below). The covers are intact, not torn and the binding is tight, there are signs of significant handling and wear in addition to the usual creases near the spine and curled corners. On the front cover there is wear at the top left corner  and faint diagonal creases across the opening corners. There is also writing on the front cover (an 'x' and a '5') and an imprinted mark (top left corner), which is also visible in my picture of the first inside story page. 

Double Duo No 8 - Back Cover

Part of this imprint runs  through to the back cover which is in similar condition to the front with a noticeable crease on the left.

The first 14 story pages inside have a brown stain on the bottom (see picture, the rest are unspoiled and undamaged apart from the imprint mentioned above which is however not particularly noticeable on the inner pages.

Condition is fair to good. The covers are intact, not torn and the binding is tight, there are normal signs of handling and wear including creases near the spine and slightly curled corners. There is also writing on the front cover (an 'x' and a '5') and some grooves across the bottom. The back cover has slight damage on the top edge. The inner covers and the story pages inside are well read with some faint staining, but unspoiled by marks and undamaged.
