A rare copy of No 8 of 'Double Duo' Picture Strip Adventure Comic Series published by Top Sellers Ltd. Each issue consists of two picture stories for young people, 64 pages. In this issue two stories about fighting for your birthright.
- The Castle of Otranto - A usurper is defeated by a king who returns from the dead
- Battle of Jerusalem - The Jewish people fight for their homeland
Condition is fair (see detail pictures above and below). The covers are intact, not torn and the binding is tight, there are signs of significant handling and wear in addition to the usual creases near the spine and curled corners. On the front cover there is wear at the top left corner and faint diagonal creases across the opening corners. There is also writing on the front cover (an 'x' and a '5') and an imprinted mark (top left corner), which is also visible in my picture of the first inside story page.

Part of this imprint runs through to the back cover which is in similar condition to the front with a noticeable crease on the left.

The first 14 story pages inside have a brown stain on the bottom (see picture, the rest are unspoiled and undamaged apart from the imprint mentioned above which is however not particularly noticeable on the inner pages.
